Afternoon Dismissal

Any transportation changes must be done in writing

Car Riders:

• Car rider numbers begin to be called around 2:15 P.M. 

• Hang your car tag from your rearview mirror.

  • Cut the car tag along the dotted line, then cut around the white circle to create a hook.​

• Pay attention to your surroundings. 

  • Keep a minimum distance between your car and the car in front of you. ​

  • Watch for students who are walking.

• Slow and/or stop the vehicle until the staff members entering the car number has indicated the number has been added.

• If you have forgotten your car rider number, you must park and wait in your car until 2:35 P.M. At that time you may come to the canopy with your state issued ID to be verified in the front office.

  • Please understand that even though some staff members know some parents, we need to ensure each child's safety and verify IDs if there is no car rider number.

Walkers:

Students who are walking home will be escorted to Miller Road by a Waddell staff member.

• Please remind your child(ren) to walk with the staff member. It is unsafe for your child(ren) to run ahead.

Day Care & Bus Riders:

Day care & bus riders wait in their classrooms until their bus is called over the school-wide intercom.
